Wow. The selection here is incredible. Normally, when I go to a little shop, there are just a few bikes in my size and color. These guys are a one stop shop. The floor is packed and whatever isn’t on the floor, they have in stock in the back. I got bikes for my whole family here. My 7 year old daughter didn’t like her purple bike, so we went back in together and she picked a lovely lavender one. She was so happy and so was I. I did not want to have to leave empty handed. Great store.

I must have gone on a bad day. I waited and waited for someone to help me to buy a 3 wheel adult trike. Nobody came out to help so I left. Bad service.

Best selection I have ever seen. So many bikes in there that it smells like no other store in the city. Must be all that rubber and shiny metal. I am a retired machinist and welder and I love to just go there and see all the bikes and contraptions there. My kids are all grown, but I got some grandkids on the way ( I hope). I will buy them all the wheeled toys they can stand at this store. It’t the best.

Pretty great shop. As soon as this freezing weather is done, I will be there to get my bike tuned up.I have been going there since I was a kid and now I take my kids there. Prices are fair, work is done on time and they are very helpful.

I’ve been getting bikes from Fridrich’s since I was a kid. Even though I live in the suburbs now, I still take my son there for bikes. The staff is hardworking and knowledgeable. I couldn’t think of a better place to bike shop.

I always take my family’s bicycles to Fridrich’s for service and parts. The prices are reasonable and the staff is super, though they come off as an eccentric bunch. I’ve always had good service here. They always give you all your options about purchases and repairs — they’re not going to push you to do or buy anything you don’t really want or need. No bike snobbery here; just real people doing hard work on real people’s bikes. They see a lot of folks here with hard-working city commuter bikes, so they’re a great place to go if you need something that’s going to take a beating. Also lots of selection of accessories at really good prices; you can get the high-end stuff if you want it, but most of their products are going to be inexpensive workhorses. Highly recommended!

I took my bike in for warranty repair. When I picked it up a day later I saw that the bike wasn’t repaired right. I had the pleasure of meeting the 75 year old argumentative owner Chuck Fridrich who didn’t care if the bike was repaired right. He wouldn’t replace a part on the bike that they damaged and told me to leave his store. I think he has Aids because he goes for a blood test every month. He said he couldn’t find good bicycle mechanics and that 2015 was the worst year ever. I left his old run down store and went to Century Cycle where the bike was repaired to my satisfaction. You will be ignored at Fridrich’s Bicycle. My advice is, STAY AWAY from Fridrich’s.

Got my first bike from them, 1959, so did my sister. Have gone there for parts and bikes ever since .
Unfortunately my kids got thiers from big box stores. But I still go there for parts.
